AM Events Refined

Friends, I am so, so thrilled to introduce you to the new, refined, comfortable home of Alex Meyer Events!

For the past few months I've been working to better articulate who I am as an artist and planner and the experiences I create for the wonderful couples I work with, refining the visual identity of AM Events into the gorgeousness you see here. From core colors to logo variations to visual inspiration, the new brand identity is a welcome change and purposeful representation of all that AM Events is. If you know me at all (if not let's change that!), you will find me in every aspect. I am SO happy with the results and hope you get an authentic sense of who I am, why I do this, and how we work.

I am beyond smitten with the gorgeous work of my talented designer and friend, Amy Kross. Amy, you are discerning, patient, and kind with an uncanny eye for bringing the heart of what people do to life. I am so grateful for this incredible gift of home you've given AM Events.

In the next few weeks I'll be sharing some of the behind the scenes from the refining process, but for now, feel free to get lost in the pretty! I hope you love it as much as I do!

A big thank you to Jenny Sanders from Graceline Art for the beautiful logo lettering. Jenny, you're a gem and a super talent and I'm so thankful to have worked with you!

Printemps: For the Love of Film Workshop Shoot

When Kristen and Matoli from Kristen Lynne Photography and Matoli Keely Photography asked me to style their first workshop, I couldn't say yes fast enough! They created an introduction to film photography workshop aptly named For the Love of Film. I came on board to help style the workshop, craft the attendee experience, and develop a styled shoot for the photographers to practice their new film knowledge with. I am so proud of this one! The creative team delivered incredible work that fit together beautifully!

I loved eavesdropping on Kristen and Matoli's teaching. They were honest about their successes and set-backs shooting film, compared their different styles, spoke to how they make their decisions and why they end up at certain labs, film companies, cameras, etc. I didn't follow any of it, but I was so impressed with how they taught, what they taught, and how they set up the entire day. It was a unique learning experience and I can't wait for round 2!

It is a huge testament to Matoli and Kristen's teaching that this shoot will be featured with seven different publications! To have so many attendee's work published the first time they shoot film, I'm blown away!

I'm excited to share my favorites from Kristen's images and can't wait to share Matoli's feature as well!
